| Word | Meaning |

| Ash | Plya's helper. Ask it questions, or tell it to add or change things |
| Ash credits | What a turn with Ash uses: 1 for an answer, 2 to read or change your studio |
| Card | A record shown on a canvas. It points at the record and always shows its latest version |
| Canvas | An open board of cards, images, links, files, text and drawings. Your home canvas is where Plya opens |
| Client | Who a project is for: one contact or one organization |
| Collection | A group of files and links in the Library |
| Contact | A person in Network |
| Follow-up | A date to get back in touch with a target, and a log of each time you did |
| Basic | The plan every studio starts on. Every part of Plya, with limits on projects, notes, contacts and Ash credits, and a Plya fee on invoice payments made online. Reaching a limit locks nothing you've made |
| Free trial | Studio free for 30 days, from a link that offers it. Your card is saved at checkout and first charged when the trial ends. One per studio |
| Full page | A record on its own page, with its own address |
| Lead | A contact you're chasing. Where they stand is the stage on each pipeline they're on |
| Library | Every file and link in your studio, in Resources |
| Link line | A line on the canvas between two cards whose records are linked |
| Note | A document in Notes |
| Opportunity | A fair, open call, award, grant or residency in Resources |
| Organization | A gallery, brand, publication, fair or other business in Network |
| Outcome | A final stage on a pipeline, such as Represented or Passed |
| Partner deal | Studio for $28 a month for your first two months, or $88 for your first quarter, from a partner's link. One per studio, on its first plan |
| Peek | How a record opens over the page: side peek or center peek |
| Over the limit | A Basic studio with more active projects, notes or contacts than Basic includes, for example after a Studio plan ends. That area still lists, opens, searches and exports. Creating and editing in it wait until you archive down or upgrade |
| Pipeline | A board in Outreach for one push, with stages from first contact to an answer |
| Plya fee | What Plya keeps from an invoice payment made online on Basic. Studio has none |
| Project | A commission, collection, show or job, with everything that belongs to it |
| Record | Any one thing in Plya: a project, task, note, contact, organization, target, pipeline, invoice, time entry or file |
| Sticky | A colored note on the canvas. It stays on the board |
| Studio | Your Plya account's shared space: its records, settings and plan |
| Studio kit | Your business details, documents, logos, colors and bios, in the Library |
| Target | One card on a pipeline, for one contact or organization |
| Task list | A canvas card listing Today's tasks, Upcoming tasks, or one record's tasks, live. A checklist typed in canvas text is part of the text instead |
| Workspace | The list at the bottom of a record's details that switches between its tabs. The pin beside a tab picks the one that kind of record opens on |
