This page is a short guide. The Privacy Policy and Terms are the full versions.

The short version

  • Plya doesn't sell your data and shows no ads.

  • Plya doesn't use your work to train AI models.

  • Your data is stored in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest.

  • You can take a copy of your work any time.

  • When you ask the support chat on the help pages something, Plya keeps the question, the pages it used and whether it answered, for up to 180 days. It isn't linked to you or your IP address.

  • When you connect Claude or ChatGPT to Plya, what that app reads from your studio follows its own privacy terms. Plya keeps which tool it used and when, never what you asked. You can remove it any time. See How do I use Plya in Claude or ChatGPT?.

When you forward or BCC an email to your studio's logging address, Plya keeps its subject, its first lines, its date and which way it went, on the contacts it was with. The rest of the email and its attachments aren't kept. Resend receives the email for Plya. If you add other addresses you send from, Plya keeps them on your list in that studio and emails each one a code to confirm it's yours. For the Email forwarding card, Plya also keeps when your address last received an email and whether it was logged, without who sent it or its subject. See logging emails.

When a plan ends

Nothing is deleted. Your studio goes back to Basic, with everything kept. An area with more records than Basic includes still opens and exports, and pauses creating and editing until you archive down or upgrade.

Delete your account

  1. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account and click Ask us to delete it. This starts an email to support@plya.app.
  2. We confirm by email before anything is deleted.
  3. Your account and studio are removed from active systems within 30 days. Backups roll off after that.

You can correct your name and sign-in email yourself in Settings → Account. To delete specific information, or to use your rights under laws like GDPR or CCPA, write to support@plya.app.
