A passkey lets you sign in with Touch ID, Face ID or your device's lock, with no code to wait for. Passkeys work on plya.app.

Save a passkey

After signing up or logging in with a code: Plya offers "Log in faster next time" once on each device that supports passkeys, before you go in. Click Save a passkey and follow your device's prompt, or Not now to skip it on that device.

From Settings:

  1. Go to Settings → Account → Passkeys.
  2. Click Add a passkey and follow your device's prompt.
  3. A toast says "Passkey saved".

Your password manager or device names the passkey. Each one shows when it was added and last used.

Sign in with a passkey

  1. Go to plya.app/login.
  2. Click Log in with a passkey, or choose your passkey when the browser offers it in the email field.

The Log in with a passkey button shows on devices that have used one before.

Remove a passkey

  1. Go to Settings → Account → Passkeys.
  2. Click the trash icon beside the passkey, then Remove passkey.

A code by email still works after you remove every passkey.
