A task I finished disappeared
- Cause: done tasks move to Completed.
- Fix: choose Completed in the rail, or turn on Show completed inline in the ··· menu.
I deleted a task by mistake
- Cause: delete has no confirm step.
- Fix: click Undo in the "Task deleted" toast right away. Once the toast is gone, the task can't be restored.
I don't see the Overdue view
- Cause: it appears only while something is overdue.
- Fix: nothing to fix. Nothing is late.
Can I set a time, a repeat or an assignee?
- Tasks have a due date without a time. Repeating tasks, subtasks and assignees aren't available.
A task isn't showing on a project
- Cause: it isn't linked to that project.
- Fix: open the task and add the project with Link to….
Are checklist items in a note the same as tasks?
- No. Checkboxes inside a note stay in the note. The same goes for a checklist in canvas text. Use the Tasks quick add, or a Task list card on the canvas, for tasks.
