Notes are for the longer thinking: meeting notes, ideas, pricing, what you learned. Link each note to the projects, contacts and organizations it's about, and it shows up on their Notes tab too.

The Notes page

The rail on the left lists your notes, and the open note fills the right. On a phone, the list and the note are separate screens.

Notes around Plya

  • Records: projects, contacts and organizations have a Notes tab. New note there starts a note already linked.
  • Canvas: a note card shows the title and first lines. Add → Note… makes an empty note at once, and Convert to note turns a sticky or text box into one.
  • Ash: Ash can find, write and add to notes.

A sticky on the canvas is different from a note: stickies stay on the board, and notes live in Notes.
