How do I link cards on the canvas?
Create linked records with the +, link two cards by dragging, and bring in records that are linked but not on the board.

Records in Plya link to each other: a contact to a project, a task to a contact, an invoice to a project. On the canvas, those links show as lines between cards.
Create a linked record with the +
Project, contact and organization cards have a + on their edge.
- Select a project, contact or organization card.
- Click its + (Add a linked record).
- Pick what to create. The new record is linked to the card's record and lands just below it.

For a contact, choose New contact or Existing contact… to link someone already in Network.
Link two cards that are already on the board
Drag a card's + onto another card. The two records are linked, and a line appears between them.
Bring in linked records
A card with links to records that aren't on this board shows a pill such as "3 linked". Click it to choose Bring in all 3, or bring them in one at a time by kind. They land below the card, and one ⌘ Z takes them back off.
New records land by their card
A record you make while a canvas is open lands below the card it's linked to. That covers a task you add in a project's details, a note you start from a contact, and an invoice Ash drafts for a project on the board. If the record is linked to two cards, it lands by the one you have selected.
- On a project's own canvas, a record linked only to that project lands at the top of the screen.
- Each record lands once. If you take its card off the board, it stays off, and the "N linked" pill brings it back.
- Records your teammates make don't land on your board. They show in the "N linked" pill.
- ⌘ Z takes a card that just landed back off. The record itself stays.
Show or hide link lines
Lines and the "N linked" pills follow the Show links setting. Turn it off in the zoom menu at the bottom left, in the canvas settings gear at the top right, or in Settings → Canvas. It's saved for you on every canvas.
Link lines come from your records' links. Unlink a contact from a project in the project's details, and the line goes away.
