Projects, contacts and organizations each get a board of their own, beside the home canvas.

Yes. Besides your home canvas, every project, contact and organization has a canvas of its own. Use it as a moodboard, a working wall or a place to gather everything about that one thing.
Open a record's canvas
- Open the project, contact or organization.
- Click Canvas in the Workspace list. Records open on it unless you pin another tab there.
Each record canvas also has its own address, such as a project's full page followed by /canvas. On a phone, the Canvas link opens it full screen.
What's on it when you start
| Canvas | Starts with |
|---|---|
| A project's | The project's linked records, laid out by kind: its contacts, tasks, notes, invoices and files |
| A contact's or organization's | An empty board |
| The home canvas | A welcome line, a card to add your first project, two stickies with tips, and the Getting started checklist if you chose more guidance. See Getting started |
Good to know
- Record canvases work the same way as the home canvas, except that Ash's bar sits only on the home canvas. Use ⌘ J to ask Ash from anywhere.
- In the Canvas tab, the save status at the top of the record covers its details and its canvas: "Saved" once both are saved, "Not saved" with Try again if either fails. On its own page, the canvas shows its save status at the top right.
- Deleting a project, contact or organization deletes its canvas too.
- The same record can be a card on any number of canvases.
