Outreach

Outreach is where you track who you're reaching out to and where each one stands. It has two sides, switched at the top of the page: Leads and Pipelines.

The words Outreach uses

Term	What it means
Pipeline	A board for one push, such as gallery outreach or a press push, with stages from first contact to an answer
Stage	A column on a pipeline, such as Identified, Intro sent or Meeting. You name them
Outcome	A stage that ends things, such as Represented or Passed
Target	One card on a pipeline. It wraps one contact or one organization, and opening it opens them, with the pipeline at the top
Lead	A contact you're chasing. Where they stand is the stage on each pipeline they're on
Follow-up	A date to get back in touch, and a log of each time you did

A contact or organization can be on many pipelines, once on each. A target's name and location always come from the contact or organization it wraps.

The rail

Each pipeline	Its board, with a count of active targets

Good to know

Plya doesn't send email. Reach out from your own email, then log the follow-up in Plya.
Follow-ups show in Plya on the day. There are no reminder emails or notifications.
Right-click a target card, or use its ⋯, for Open, Log note, Move to, Pause and Remove from pipeline (Right-click a target).
A target's latest note shows along the bottom of its card (Log a note).
Every board has a Paused bar pinned along the bottom. Drag a card onto it to pause it, and click it to see what's paused.
Outreach options (···) has Show outcome stages, Show closed targets, your other card display choices (Choose how cards show), and your archived pipelines to restore.
