Someone I added is missing from Contacts

Cause: they're a lead, and Contacts hides leads by default. Or they're archived.
Fix: tick Include leads, or turn on Show archived in Network options.

"Over the Basic contacts limit."

Cause: your studio has more contacts than Basic includes, for example after a Studio plan ended. Adding and editing contacts are paused. You can still open, search and export everyone.
Fix: click Archive down and archive contacts until you reach the limit, or click Upgrade to Studio. Archiving and deleting always work. See what the Basic plan includes.

New contact or Import opens the plan dialog

Cause: you've reached Basic's limit of 50 contacts. Archived contacts and organizations don't count.
Fix: archive contacts you no longer work with, or upgrade. An import can bring in the first few with Import the first N.

"… already has this email"

Cause: a contact with that email is already in Network.
Fix: click Open to go to them. If they're really two people, you can still add the new one.

Can I merge two duplicate contacts?

Plya has no merge. Copy anything you need onto the contact you're keeping, then archive the other.

"That file has N rows. Import up to 2,000 at a time."

Cause: imports take up to 2,000 rows.
Fix: split the file into smaller CSVs and import each one.

"Map a column to First name or Full name"

Cause: no column is mapped to a name.
Fix: set your name column to First name or Full name in the map step.

I can't delete a tag or status

Cause: contacts or leads still use it. The number beside it in the list says how many.
Fix: move them to another tag or status first.

Where's the delete button?

Network archives instead. To delete permanently, ask Ash.

My Gmail or phone contacts aren't syncing

Plya doesn't sync with mail apps. Export your contacts as a CSV and import them.
