The NGV's annual open call for exhibitions, open studios, talks and events in the Melbourne Design Week program, which runs May 20–30, 2027 with 350-plus events. Accepted presenters get a program listing, signage, and marketing and media support from the NGV. The 2027 call welcomes industrial and product design, furniture, lighting, research projects and international practitioners, especially from the Indo-Pacific.

- Who can apply
- Designers, studios, brands, galleries, universities, cultural institutions and businesses with an event or exhibition to present in Melbourne or Victoria during the week. International practitioners are welcome. Presenters run and fund their own events.
