How it works
From first hello to regular client
Map your network
See people with the places they work
Contacts are people. Organizations are the galleries, brands, publications, fairs and studios they belong to. A contact links to one organization and any number of projects.
- Add someone at an organization in one step
- Typing a new organization's name creates it
- Each organization totals its projects this year
Chase leads
Leads are contacts from the start
A lead is a contact you're chasing, worked in Outreach. When they say yes, convert them to a contact, and everything already linked to them stays.
- Tick Is lead when you add someone
- Drag a lead onto a pipeline on the Leads board
- A lead can sit on several pipelines at once

Know the history
Everything you share on one record
Open a contact to see their details beside tabs for their canvas, tasks, notes, outreach and invoices. Their Activity tab lists the emails you've logged with them, and every field saves as you edit it.
- Forward or BCC an email to log it on them
- Last contacted shows who you haven't written to
- See your next task with them on each project

Organize
Sort it your way
Tag people as Gallery, Client, Supplier, Press or Event, or make your own tags and statuses. Group the list by status, tag or organization, and search across everyone.
- Sort by name, status, added or last contacted
- Filter to one tag with the tag pills
- Export the rows you see as a CSV

Questions about Network
Can I import my contacts?
Yes. Import any CSV, such as a spreadsheet or your mail app's contacts export, up to 2,000 rows at a time. Plya matches common column names and skips emails already in Network.
How do I log emails with a contact?
Forward the email to your studio's logging address, or BCC it on one you send. It shows on their Activity tab, and their Last contacted date moves up. Plya keeps the subject, the first lines and the date.
What's the difference between a contact and a lead?
A lead is a contact you're chasing, worked in Outreach. When they say yes, convert them to a contact, and they keep everything, including the pipelines they're on.
How many contacts does Basic include?
Basic includes 50 contacts, counting active people and leads. Organizations never count, archived contacts don't either, and Studio has no limit.
Can I export my network?
Yes, on any plan. Export the contacts or organizations you see as a CSV. Clear your filters first to get everyone.
