Metalsmith Editorial Open Call, Summer 2027 Special Issue

Metalsmith magazine is building its summer 2027 issue entirely from open submissions in four categories. Newly Minted takes images of jewelry and metalwork finished in 2025 or 2026, with a $50 honorarium for accepted work; the other three categories take short texts, archive essays and reviews, with honoraria up to $400. The issue publishes in July 2027.

Artists and writers at any career level, worldwide. Newly Minted accepts work completed in 2025 or 2026 in any material or format within jewelry, adornment and metalsmithing. SNAG membership is not required.
