Statuses, priorities and labels are lists your studio owns. Change them once and every project uses the new version.
Open the editor
- On the Projects page, click ··· (Customize project options) at the top right, then Status, Priority or Labels. The same menu has Show archived and Select projects to archive.
- Or open any status, priority or label picker and click Edit statuses…, Edit priorities… or Edit labels… at the bottom.
What you can do
| To | Do this |
|---|---|
| Rename | Click the name and type |
| Recolor | Click the swatch and pick a color |
| Reorder | Drag the handle. The order is the order of rows on the Projects page |
| Add | Click Add status (or priority, or label). Its name is selected, so type the new one and press Enter |
| Delete | Click Delete. An option still in use can't be deleted: move those projects first. Point at Delete to see how many use it |
Names are up to 60 characters. You have to keep at least one status and one priority.
What each status means
Each status also has a meaning that Plya uses behind the scenes: Not started, In progress, Paused, Done or Canceled. Projects with a Paused or Canceled status fade back on the Projects page. The starting statuses are:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Planning | Not started |
| In progress | In progress |
| On hold | Paused |
| Complete | Done |
| Cut | Canceled |
Labels
Labels start empty. Type a new name in any label picker to create one on the spot. A project can carry up to 50 labels, and grouping by Label shows a project under each of its labels.
