Deleting a project is permanent. To set a project aside and keep it, archive it instead. Plya asks you to confirm before a delete, and the confirm says how many tasks go with it, such as "its canvas and 2 tasks".
Delete a project
- Open the project.
- Open Settings at the bottom of the details.
- Click Delete project, then Delete project again to confirm.
What goes and what stays
| Linked to the project | What happens |
|---|---|
| The project's canvas | Deleted |
| Cards for the project on other canvases | Stay, and show as "Missing record" |
| Tasks linked only to this project | Deleted |
| Tasks also linked to a contact or organization | Stay, without the project link |
| Notes | Stay, without the project link |
| Invoices | Stay, without a project |
| Time entries | Stay, without a project |
| Contacts and the client | Stay in Network |
Deleting has no trash or undo. To keep a finished or dropped project for reference, archive it, or set its status to Complete or Cut.
