How do I mark an invoice paid, void it or change it?

Every invoice has an Invoice options menu (⋯) in its header. What's in it depends on the invoice's status.

Right-click an invoice in the list for Open, Add to favorites and the same actions as Invoice options, for that invoice's status. Delete invoice asks you to confirm first.

Mark an invoice paidCopy Anchor Link

Use this when a client pays by bank transfer, check or cash.

1. Open the invoice.
2. Click Mark paid in the header, or choose Mark as paid from Invoice options.

The button turns green with a check, then the header shows the paid date. The invoice turns Paid with today's date. A payment marked paid by hand carries no Plya fee and no payout date, since no money passes through Plya or Stripe. Your client gets a receipt email, the same as an online payment. Everyone else in your studio gets a paid notification. Asking Ash to mark an invoice paid does the same.

Change a sent invoiceCopy Anchor Link

1. Choose Move to draft from Invoice options.
2. Edit the draft.
3. Send it again.

Void an invoiceCopy Anchor Link

Choose Void invoice from Invoice options. A void invoice can't be paid, and its pay page says so. To use it again, choose Move to draft.

Delete an invoiceCopy Anchor Link

Only drafts can be deleted. Choose Delete invoice, then Delete draft to confirm. Any time on it becomes billable again. For a sent invoice, void it instead.
