See your studio on one canvas
The canvas is home in Plya. Projects, people, invoices and notes sit on it as cards, next to images, links and text.

- Home when you sign in
- Plya opens on your home canvas every time.
- A board for every record
- Each project, contact and organization has a canvas of its own.
- Saved as you go
- The save status is always on screen.
How it works
From loose ideas to linked work
Place records
Cards are your real records
A card on the canvas is the project, contact or invoice itself, so it always shows the latest version. Rename a project in Projects and its card changes on every canvas. Double-click a card to open the record over the board.
- Add any record from the add card or a right-click
- Make a new project or invoice right on the board
- Removing a card leaves the record where it is
Connect
See how everything connects
Lines run between cards whose records are linked, like a contact and their project. Drag a card's + onto another card to link them, or use it to make a linked task, note or invoice that lands just below.
- A count shows linked records not on the board yet
- Bring them in all at once, or one kind at a time
- New records land beside the card they belong to

Put anything next to the work
Paste an image or a web address, drop in files, and add stickies, shapes, arrows and drawings from the tool dock. A task list card shows Today, Upcoming or one project's tasks, and you tick them off right on the board.
- Pasted links become cards with a preview
- Drop up to 100 files at once
- Turn a sticky into a note when the idea grows

Questions about Canvas
Does each project get its own canvas?
Yes. Every project, contact and organization has a canvas of its own, in the Canvas tab of its detail. A project's canvas starts with its contacts, tasks, notes, invoices and files, laid out by kind.
What happens to a record if I delete its card?
The record stays in its module. Deleting a card only takes it off that board, and the same record can be a card on any number of canvases.
What can I put on a canvas?
Projects, tasks, notes, contacts, organizations, outreach targets, pipelines, invoices and opportunities, as cards. Next to them go images, videos, links, files, text, stickies, shapes, arrows and drawings.
How big can files be?
A file card holds a file up to 50 MB, and an image or video dropped on the board can be up to 10 MB. You can drop up to 100 files at once.
What if my connection drops while I work?
Your change stays on the board, and the save status says Not saved with Try again. Plya warns you before you leave a page with unsaved changes.
